Men, I understood, leave the house for basically one reason: to run into pretty girls. When we go to a supermarket or run errands at the bank or go to an old friend’s wedding, we’re just hoping to get a glimpse at someone easy on the eyes. Actually buying the groceries or making a deposit or giving a toast in honor of a newlywed couple are all just the excuses we give to go out in public and witness beauty. And we don’t need to conquer all the beauty we see and make it ours, we’re simply thankful to have it around, if only for a glimpse.
