I spend a great amount of time talking to people who tell me that they have a great business idea and want to know how to turn it into a success. Just last week I was talking to a woman on the block below my Romeville apartment who was asking me exactly the same question, the woman was selling churros from a stall and wanted to know how she could take her business to the next level of the block that she had started from. In the past I have charged for this kind of information but the great news for you is that today I have teamed up with business guru Haris Ahmed to tell you exactly how to take that idea of yours, and turn into a money spinner.

Choose One Idea

If you have a million business ideas falling out of your head then it is highly important that you just pick one idea and focus hard on that one. This can be difficult to do when you have so many ideas floating around in your head but if you cannot focus on one single idea, you are going to end up doing absolutely nothing. Don’t get confused or sidetracked on additional ideas, pick the one that you think will work and run with it.

Test It Out

Once you have decided upon an idea, you need to test it out before you take it to market. This doesn’t need to be a nationwide testing strategy and you can use friends and family members to test out your product or service for you. Make sure that you work hard on the negative feedback that you receive as it is vital that the product which you take to market is the best that it can be.

Find Your Market

In order to successfully sell your product or service, you need to work out just who your market will be and make sure that you are aiming your business towards that market. Sometimes it will be easy to assess which demographic you should be aiming towards but it is not always obvious. If you are in doubt, check out latest fashions and trends to see which marketplace looks the best for your business.

Just Execute

You can find hundreds of excuses to make as to why your product or service is not ready for the market just yet but during this time someone else could come along with a better idea. Don’t waste any time when it comes to taking your business to market. The key to most successful businesses is that they execute, they don’t talk for too long or get caught up in the planning process, they ensure that they have their prep right and then they execute on their ideas. If you want to turn your business idea into a successful business, align what you need to and then execute.
